It was a cold September morning it had just snowed about four inches the night before. I had just started out on one of my favorite draws. The wind was blowing from all directions. I was thinking that it was going to be one of those days where everything would be winding you before you could see it. I was wearing some of the Bring'M In cow elk with sex appeal. OK a lot of it.
I did a cow call when I heard some wood break in front of me. I saw a herd of elk legs moving up the draw. I set up by a big evergreen tree. I put some cow elk with sex appeal in the gel form on some of the evergreen boughs around me. I called and this five pointer came running down past me. I was going to call to stop him when he stopped dead in his tracks. He curled his lip as he took a hard deep smell of the Bring'M In. He was so engulfed in the sex appeal he did not see me drawing back on him. He only ran about 80 yards downhill and piled up. After 10 years of hunting elk in the Rockies I had finally taken a trophy. I had seen a lot of elk run and spooked from smells in the air but I have never seen one stop so fast. Thanks Bring'M In.
